Digital Inclusion and Benefit Support

We live in an increasingly online world, but many people in our community remain digitally excluded. Around 65% of our Help In Hub services users have little to no access to the Internet. We understand that service users may not have the skills or confidence to use technology or access online services.

Being digitally excluded makes life harder. But the Help In Hub can help people understand how to use the internet to access information, and to help them develop the digital skills they need to use technology to interact with the world around them.

We run a digital support service and access to computers at our Help In Hub. Monday to Friday, 10 am – 12pm and 1pm – 4 pm, we offer free access to our computers and support from our volunteers to gain confidence and digital competency when using tablets, smartphones and computers. The Help In Hub can also help you improve your digital skills, set up emails, build a CV, and work towards finding employment.

Computer Access

Do you want to start doing things online but are not quite sure where to start? Get in touch and we can organise starting you on a computer course.

Sessions are structured around a person’s needs, developing skills for employment, or accessing services such as online banking and food shopping online.

From learning how to use a computer to how to stay safe online this course will prepare you for navigating the online world.
